The hotel's location was great, close to the beach, restaurants, and a grocery store. There were several good places to eat nearby. Our room was functional and the beds were comfy. Everything was fairly clean.

Greatly enjoyed Gold Beach, the hotel was good little and convenient to several places to eat. The room was generous sized with essentials, had essentials required. Everything was excellent as expected, even so the bathroom was too small.

The hotel is affordable and located in a fairly quiet area near fairgrounds, with at least two restaurants that stay open quite late. The rooms offer good pillows, coffee, and comfy beds. The restaurant provides plenty of food options. The location is comfortable and absolutely perfect, just 5 minutes' walk from the Illinois River, and the staff were excellent. My stay was wonderful, as always.

I stayed at Motel 101 for one night during a business trip. Despite my late arrival, the front desk staff was incredibly accommodating and had prepared everything for a quick and easy check-in. The room was pleasantly clean, offering a comfortable bed and a simple, minimalist design. What truly impressed me about this hotel is the owner's commitment to the community. Their investment in local businesses and development is truly commendable, making me feel like I was contributing to a greater cause.

In my room, I had everything I needed - cozy central heating, a big flat-screen TV with tons of channels 📺, and a convenient microwave. The bed was so comfy, and it was great to have my own private bathroom.

The spacious rooms and friendly staff with great personalities made our stay at this hotel enjoyable. The hotel is conveniently located near the beach and within walking distance to many restaurants. The manager was extremely nice and accommodating. The cleanliness of the room and its size were impressive. We loved the open windows in the room and bathroom, providing a nice ventilation. Despite the busy street, the noise levels were not bothersome. The comfortable beds were a major highlight of our stay.
